We are all little boys and girls hidden behind well-manicured masks of adults, trying to pretend we know what we are doing in this crazy world of chaos, destruction, love, and joy.
To this day there is so much that can be hard to comprehend for any of us. We are living in a world where many people do not know where they belong, we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, many of us do not know what we are born to do. Each day we make up each step we make as the world continues to do the unimaginable.
If we could put our adult minds to the side what would life look like for us? Of course, keep all of your beautiful wisdom, but bring forward all of the amazing traits children hold that we wish we never lost.
Let me ask you something… Do you remember who you were before the world told you who you should be? Life really tampered with us! I get it, but let's stand up and take back the qualities we wish we never lost.
- Curious
- They want to explore
- They are so creative!
- They accept everyone
- They give generously
- They are content with their life
- They are not afraid to express their love
Do you feel you lost touch with any of these amazing qualities? Many of us have. If you are one of those people try this!
Step 1 — Write down each trait on a piece of paper.
Step 2 — Place this list in a location where you will see it each morning.
Step 3 — Read each trait to yourself regularly. Every morning and throughout the day.
Before you know it these qualities will be natural and you will live the life of a child every day! And you will truly enjoy it!
Your life will transform and you will feel extremely happy each day! You will appreciate more in life and your challenges won’t pull you down as much as they do today.
You won’t overthink things! Life is not as complicated as we make it. Overthinking never worked out in the past! All of your greatest accomplishments, ideas, and solutions came from the state of joy, peace, and clarity. You are worthy of the best life has to offer.
So laugh like a child! Have fun! Because life is short and we can not control what the world will bring tomorrow. What we can control is what we bring forward tomorrow!
